Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall

stare upon me.
Psa 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast
lots upon my vesture.
Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man
of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as
it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we
esteemed him not.
Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and
carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement
of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed.
All the types pointed to it.
II. His death was made necessary by the sins of
others than Himself.
2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement
of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed.
Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we
have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD
hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
III. It was for YOUR personal sins that he died!
