ACCORDING TO FREDDIE

Tim 1:2 And I thank
Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted
me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
For over fifty years, my greatest pleasure and fulfillment came from preaching the Gospel and teaching the Word of God. During this time it was my privilege to serve as pastor to Missionary Baptist Churches in California, Oregon and Washington. I often heard the remark, after a lesson or seminar, "Why don't you write a book on this subject." When it became clear that I could no longer keep up the pace and do the job, I faced retirement with the determination that I would do what I had long promised, and write a book. That turned into at least three books and even now another is in progress. One Sunday morning after Church I mentioned that writing books was a waste of time since it took a fortune to publish it. Edie, my wife, made the 'ridiculous' suggestion, that I 'put it on the web.' We were both new to computers at the time and my thought was that if we did that, maybe a dozen people would bother to read it. Our daughter, Brenda was glad to get us set up, and this site is the result. I am still amazed and humbled by the results. You, the readers, have provided reward and incentive to continue. My purpose in preaching and teaching has always been to glorify the Lord. It still is. That is why I can say that any material found in this site may be used freely in God's service in any way that will honor Him, but is not to be used for profit in any fashion.
